Understanding pipe fittings, read this one is enough!

Where is the main use of these fittings?

According to the use of points:

Flange: pipe and pipe interconnection parts, mainly used for the connection between the pipe end.

Live joint: also known as oil any, mainly used for matching hardware connection, can be installed in various pipeline-interface use.

Pipe hoop: a commonly used accessory in industrial pipeline connection, used to connect a short section of two tubes.

Ferrule: belongs to the stainless steel pipeline connectors, mainly used in water treatment, municipal water supply systems, and other mechanical pipeline connection systems.

Dirt separator: to prevent impurities in the pipeline medium into the transmission equipment or precision parts so that the production failure or affect the quality of the product.

Reinforcement pipe: Reinforcement means to increase strength by increasing the force area to improve the power of the site, basically forging a tube.

Circlip: It is the primary retainer of movable denture restoration, which is made of metal and mainly plays the role of retaining, stabilizing, and supporting.

Tow hook: refers to the tugboat for the buckle hanging tow cable, and easy to release the hook. Can be divided into a spring towing hook, hydraulic towing hook, and remote control towing hook.

Lifting ring: a kind of industrial spreader, lifting machinery, lifting heavy devices, standard lifting ring has a round ring, a pear-shaped ring, and so on.

Bracket: The trusses supporting the intermediate roof frame are called brackets, generally, parallel chord trusses are used, and its web rod adopts a herringbone system with the vertical rod.

According to the connection method:

Welded fittings: pipe fittings connected with pipes by welding, including elbows, flanges, tees, reducers, heads, etc.

Threaded fittings: are pipe fittings with threads, commonly used in water and gas pipes, small-diameter water pipes, compressed air pipes, and low-pressure steam pipes.

Tube fittings: a new type of fast pipe fittings, with good sealing, that can be used repeatedly, suitable for oil, gas, and general corrosive media piping system.

Clamp fittings: used in the fast coupling between the hoop connection, including clamps, quick-release couplings, silicone sealing gaskets, chuck blinds, and so on.

Splice fittings: a kind of high-pressure pipeline connecting fittings formed by round steel or ingot mold forging billet molding, processed by lathe machine.

Curved elastic double-fusion fittings: fittings with ports of the same size as the pipe to be connected, which are connected by heat fusion butt welding.

Adhesive fittings: solvent-based adhesive to achieve the connection of fittings, such as PVC plastic pipe.

Rubber ring connected fittings: by the body of the pipe fittings, sealing end caps, sealing rubber ring combination.

By material:

Iron and steel fittings: cast steel pipe is designed to be thick and heavy, its weldability is poor, and carbon content is high, so the weld needs on-site heat treatment.

Rubber fittings: mainly used in industry, mining, civil transport, and attraction of liquids and gases, including rubber hoses, rubber gaskets, rubber grouting pipes, etc...

Cast iron pipe fittings: cast iron casting molding pipe, including water supply cast iron pipe, sand centrifugal cast iron straight pipe, and drainage cast iron pipe.

Stainless steel fittings: including stainless steel elbow, stainless steel tee, stainless steel cross, stainless steel reducer, stainless steel pipe cap, etc...

Plastic pipe fittings: synthetic resin as raw material, add stabilizers, lubricants, and plasticizers, then extrude and process. Mainly used as water supply system piping, drainage, exhaust and sewage sanitary pipe, rainwater pipe, and wire threading pipe.

PVC pipe fittings: the polyvinyl chloride resin and stabilizers, lubricants, etc., with the hot press method of extrusion, can be divided into PVC-U pipe, PVC-M pipe, and PVC-O pipe.

Graphite fittings: refers to the combination of impermeable graphite pipe and fittings, mainly used for conveying corrosive media without metal ion pollution, but also has good thermal conductivity.

Forged steel fittings: pipe fittings made by forging, forging is with impact, forging pieces, including forged steel flange, forged steel reducer, forged steel tee, etc...

PPR pipe fittings: including U-type pipe cards, concealed valves, isometric tee, flange, flange iron ring, pipe plugs, etc., ppr essential connection using hot melt, has high plasticity.

Alloy pipe fittings: made of alloy steel material, including alloy tee/quad, alloy reducer, alloy head, flange, and so on.

PE fittings: they can be used for the connection between various flexible belts, such as the connection of PE pipes, UPVC, steel pipes, and so on.

ABS fittings: made from the resin copolymerized with three monomers of acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene, it is a kind of engineering plastic with high strength, high impact resistance, high sanitary performance, and high anti-aging resistance.
